I've only had this machine a few days and I haven't tried all the features yet but I absolutely love it! The ease of automatic threading combined with auto tension is a godsend, it's all just so easy to use - I honestly don't think there's anything I don't like about the 7470. Definitely very highly recommended!

Been testing my machine out. Great all rounder. This was bought as an upgrade for my old model (another brand). I would recommend Janome to anybody who wants to buy a machine from beginner to experience.

Great machine. Love Janome. Good clear-view bobbin, needle-up / down, and needle threader ( a must have). Best of all is the adjustable speed button. A good all rounder. Clear instructions when changing length and width of stitches. Great Service too from Sewing Machine Sales - including next day delivery.

I have had this product a few months now. My daughter has made trousers and shorts with it. I have made a wall pocket hanger out of old sailcloth and curtains for a camper van. The machine works really well on all the materials we have used, quiet and firm. The free arm is great for sleeves. I'm really pleased as this is the first machine I've bought for more years than I care to remember. Great prices and service too.

This is the second purchase, and as ever the service was fab. This machine is a step up (or several steps up) from my last machine and I love it. It is very easy to use and the instructions are very clear, so good for beginners and advanced alike. The choice of stitches is varied and suits my needs perfectly. The machine sews beautifully and the accessories are perfect to start you off or add to your collection. I am very happy with this machine and would recommend it.

Excellent service and after speaking to Christian, very happy with new purchase and my free sewing machine bag. Arrived safely and packaged very well and everything present and correct. Have had a little play about with machine and it is so easy to use and I particularly like the stitch selection dial which tells you what foot to use and the tension etc. Button holes and stitching buttons are a breeze a basic machine but jam packed full of everything needed to create fashionable clothes, curtains, bedding etc. Very pleased with purchase and the price!
