Some models combine overlock stitches together with a cover hem stitch. These models usually use 5 threads, however, some use even more. In fact up to 8 threads.!

This is a brilliant machine. It comes ready set up. In a couple of days I made 6 infinity scarves. It copes great with very fine fabric which I normally have a problem with. A terrific machine especially for the price. Highly recommended.

This is a delightful machine in appearance and to use. It is really peppy and has great tension and is easy to carry. I did find that it vibrates and moves a little when sewing fast but this was easily remedied by placing some non slip matting under the machine. The DVD included in the purchase is informative and guides the user clearly. I loved the fact that it arrived fully threaded with white thread and ready to sew. Once I have more time to study it a little more I'm sure I will enjoy using the other feet included in purchase.

Lightweight yet sturdy. Easy to follow threading instructions and reasonably quiet when in use at top speed. Recommended for any sewer who wants to achieve a professional finish

I've never used an overlocker before but decided to get one to achieve a more professional finish. I had looked at a couple of other models but decided on the Singer as my sewing machine is a Singer and know it to be a reliable make. This machine is brilliant and so easy to use and I was surprised at how straightforward it is to thread. I wish I'd bought one years ago. Excellent & friendly service from sewingmachinesales.co.uk.

Had this overlocker for 3 months now and it's the best thing since sliced bread. Straight out of the box I tried it with my cut up cotton velvet curtain and it edged them perfectly (then put them in the washer and drier ready for craft use). Threading is really easy which surprised me. All in all, I'm a very happy bunny.

I had a overlocker twenty years ago but having recently returned to sewing, I missed it and was keen to get a knew one. The Janome is a sturdy, reliable machine that is easy to use - I finished a top I within one hour of delivery. The fact that it arrived threaded is a great bonus! I am now keen to get on with many projects.

I am absolutely delighted with my Brother 3034d overlocker. It is fantastic! I phoned the company for advice about a couple of different overlockers before making my purchase & the man I spoke to was really knowledgeable and helpful. As a result I chose this model. It is compact but very sturdy, really easy to use, gives my sewing a very professional finish & is amazingly easy to thread! Excellent product, excellent customer service and free next day delivery for this item. I will definitely buy from this company again and highly recommend them.

I read the reviews before buying as I like to know about the product. After reading my decision was finally made. My brother Over locker was ordered I rang to make sure that it would arrive on my day off (thank you for that). Once opened the set up which was already done when I started to use I did find it was noisier then my mums (not to much) it was so easy and stitches where set just right my clothes look lot neater so anybody who thinking of buying this make, my advise is go for it easy to use and good value!! Thanks to staff service Brilliant.

Love this machine, it has to be my best buy of 2014 even though its only April. It arrived quickly and was told when it would come so I did not have to wait in all day. The machine does come already threaded which is brilliant but I accidental pulled the threads and had to re thread it before I had had a chance to play. I was a bit nervous to be threading the machine so soon but the DVD was very helpful and the job was soon done. On the day my overlocker arrived I managed to make pyjama bottoms for my daughter and a fleece top for my husband. I haven't stopped, its amazing, my garments look more professional and making clothes is so much quicker. I haven't used the extra feet yet but I have used a variety of fabrics including stretch knits and the results are always great. I never thought I would be able to have an overlocker but at this price its very affordable and well worth it.
