Bernina Bernette Funlock B48 Combined machine

The Bernina Bernette B48 dual overlock/coverstitch machine, of Swiss design, has a total of 23 stitches which include 4 combo stitches, 1 chain stitch, 3 coverstitches and a massive 15 overlock stitches for all types of overlock.

The Bernina Bernette B48 offers numerous practical functions, giving you a straightforward introduction to overlocking and coverstitching.

It has a large 87mm working area to the right of the needle and a bright LED light to provide good visibility.

The B48, like other models in the Funlock series, has the beauty of differential feed, which can be adjusted whilst sewing and simple threading of the looper and needle, thanks to the easy to follow coloured markings.

The knife drive is from below, so the stitch widths can be easily adjusted with one hand, with the overlock stitches ranging up to 7mm wide, the coverstitches to 5.6mm wide, the combo stitches up to 10mm wide and the rolled hem stitches up to 1.5mm wide.

The Bernette B48 is also quick, with sewing speeds up to 1300 stitches per minute.
