Great machine at a very reasonable price. This is my third embroidery machine, I bought it for the big embriodery area. I have now had the machine for nealy two month, and I love it! Embroiders excellent on everything, from jeans to organza and towels. No problem with thread tension at all, and I have used all kind of embriodery thread including metallic. I have not used the ordinary sewing so much, but all I have done so far it has worked very well. Nice stitch patterns for many items.

As a replacement for my very old straight stitch, I could not be more happy, the Janome 1600PQC is so quiet and smooth its eerie The programmed up/down needle switch together with a silky smooth motor allow for single stitch sewing, the electronic speed controller gives a wide range of sewing options without a drop in power, as I work from home, an industrial machine in the up-stairs sewing room was audable throughout the house, now I can work all day and not cause a problem. I also added the Janome Sewing Table to my order, combined the two purchases have made sewing so much more easy its hard to believe. Recommend both 1600PQC and Table to anyone wanting an industrial type straight stitch machine at home.

I ordered this and other items on Wednesday night and received it on Friday morning. Fantastically swift delivery. The machine is excellent. After learning to sew on a shop's own brand sewing machine which was frankly rubbish, the Singer 1507 is a dream to use! I shall be buying all my sewing essentials from this site. Very impressed.

I have recently purchased this machine so not used all functions as yet. Cannot believe what it is capable of. The first thing I did was alphabet embroidery just to try machine. Wow. How easy. I like the fact that you don't have to mess with tension. Just thread machine and away you go. Also I liked the speed control. It does not 'run away with you' unless you want it to. The one thing I really like is it cuts the cotton for you when you have finished sewing. I used to have lots of hanging threads that got jumbled up. I received the machine the day after ordering and placing the order was simple. Highly recommend them.

I love this machine, it's chunky, fast and mechanical. Not quite as dainty as my Pfaff but stitches well and goes like the clappers! Very happy with it and it does what it says on the tin. So far, very happy with it and the service from this company :-)
