Designed to use with quilting templates for ruler work. This wonderful foot is adjustable for height and is spring loading for a better stitch.
The round edge of the foot is used as a guide against the quilting template allowing you to sew custom symmetrical shaped perfectly. Or why not use this foot with a straight quilting template edge for perfect straigh seams, the options are endless.
The needle, hence stitching will always be 1/4" away for the edge of the template edge.
